Don't Get Drenched... Get Trench'd!

It's been raining on and off these past few weeks, and the wet t-shirt look is hardly stylish, nor very respectable -- can you imagine turning up at the office drenched? Well, gone are the olden days where gentlemen would lay their coats on puddles for damsels-in-distress to daintily step on, so ladies, why don't we brave the rain in our own coats? ;)

This is where Trench'd comes in -- a new line of waterproof trench coats by Ready for Rain. I'm so happy to announce they're finally available, not only because these cover-ups are both stylish and functional, but also because I styled the shoot a few months back! :)

What to Wear in Red-Hot Petra: Ciara

Petra is one of the most amazing sites we saw during the Holy Land trip. Located in present-day Jordan, it's a man-made ancient wonder that has since been abandoned. The reddish rocks symbolize olden-day Edom, named after Esau -- whose name actually means "red." Interesting, right?

On this hot, hot day, my gorgeous bus-mate and friend Ciara wore long sleeves and pants to protect her skin from the sun. Being covered up doesn't mean looking like a nun, as you can see!

At Last!

It's been too long since I've last posted and it's because I'm officially not a bum anymore :) Praise God for the abundance of His blessings, His perfect, meticulous timing to the second, and His protection!

So what have I been up to the past month? I started assisting Sidney Yap, one of the Philippines' top fashion stylists and it's been great! Every day brings new experiences and lessons on dealing with people, honing one's taste, and pushing myself to be better.

Fan Girl teehee
This is going to be a short post given I'm so sleepy and we have a full day tomorrow.

Scarfed Again: Light and Breezy

Another example of using one's scarf as a tent. I just placed it over my hat and voila! I love this scarf especially because it's so light and moves beautifully with the wind.

Have a lovely Friday!

Refreshed: Mint and Neutrals

Here's a little mid-week inspiration to help us get bright and perky despite this gloomy weather we've been having. How about a refreshing dash of mint?

Scarves in the Desert: Weird or Not?

When the sun is beating down on you and you're not quite convinced to don long-sleeved shirts... aside from slathering sunblock, why not use a scarf as your own personal tent?

Stand-Out in the Desert: Joanne

Having been deprived of color in my wardrobe for at least a hundred days, I turned to my bus-mate and friend Joanne for some color and print inspiration.

Can you count the number of patterns she has on?

Scorching Hot: What do you wear in Egypt?

Hello from the scorching sands of Egypt! While packing for our Holy Land trip, I was mapping out my outfits and was pretty sure I didn't want to wear jeans in Egypt because they tend to be heavy, stiffer, and close-cut to the body. So what do I wear?

A light-colored top and loose pants! I had limited options to bring along the trip, because remember, I could only work with black, white, and neutrals like cream, gray, and navy. Good thing I found these cute printed harem pants at 168 Mall for a steal at P180! :)

Crisp and Fresh: What do you do after a long flight?

In my previous post, I showed how I survive a long flight with comfortable clothes and a trusty scarf that I can wear several ways. How do you keep fresh after the trip when you don't have time to drop by the hotel before starting off your itinerary upon arrival?

If you're like me, you'd probably brush your teeth and wash your face. I made sure I did, especially as I seem to eat every two or three hours; I even woke up in near-darkness on the plane just because I smelled instant noodles cooking. Haha! I also pulled my hair back to keep my scalp from getting too oily.

BUT if you're a forward-thinking genius Gigi, you would've already packed a second set of clothes (and accessories!!!) to a) smell freshly-showered, compared to your 180 other companions on tour. Hehe. b) adapt to the new climate, and c) look great in photos.

Good job, Gigi! Unfortunately, I didn't get to take a photo of her travel clothes. She simply surprised everyone when she suddenly appeared at the baggage carousel all fresh, pretty, and perky in her new outfit :)

4-Way Scarf: What do you wear on a long flight?

This is the moment I've been waiting for -- to blog about the trip that changed my life! I usually learn a lot when I travel, but when one of my best friends Kim asked me to go on the Holy Land Bible Study Tour this year, I had no idea how amazing this experience would be. I had just left my three-year stint as a brand manager at the end of March and was looking forward to the two weeks we'd have this April-May when I could rest, recharge, and spend time -- quality time -- with God. I was really excited to have daily devotionals at 8 AM!

The first leg of our trip was in Egypt, with a stop-over in Dubai, and I wanted to wear something that allowed me to move comfortably throughout the long flight. I also get chilled easily, but didn't want to sweat at the airport (nor in the desert!) so I settled on a thin, blousy shirt that was long enough for me to wear with leggings -- the closest thing to pajamas. And although I had a light jacket in my hand carry bag, I settled on a scarf to keep me appropriately warm.

Scarf style # 1: Over the neck. Simple enough, right? This leopard print is one of two scarves I brought on my trip. I decided to pack light and just be creative with what I have.

Sea Foam Green: How do you wear it?

Alright, I admit, I've been remiss in my blogging duties! Not because I have nothing to share, because I do -- the abundance of God's blessings has kept me occupied since I came back from a two-week Holy Land tour last May (*gasp* It's now July, can you believe it?! Half the year's gone already!)

Okay, I'll stop myself from rambling on and on and move the discussion what I've been wearing! ;p

I'm so happy I finally get to put on this happy-colored knit from H&M. Following our grandma's passing last March, our family observed a black-and-white wardrobe for a hundred days, with a few appearances of navy and cream. Not to make her death a trivial matter, but we who know Ama (that's what we call our grandma) know that she's now in heaven with her Maker, dancing and singing away, and she wouldn't want us to go around moping! Just as well too, as I've got a pile of brights and coloreds waiting to make their debut!

Tangled: A Hair Story

Have you ever watched Disney's Tangled? It's the story of Rapunzel who had magical, life-giving hair. Contrary to the fairy tale, hair is actually made up of dead cells, and because of its weight, I've never grown my hair past my rib cage.

Good thing there's Tokyo Posh, the one-stop shop for hair extensions, clip-ons, half-wigs and more! You can literally change your hair every day depending on your mood! :) I visited my friend Denise in her Rockwell branch, and she happily offered to make my hair longer for the afternoon. This is what a half pony looks like:

Garage Sale

This is where all my clothes and things go... to a better tomorrow. A lot of my clothes are still in good shape so if you're looking for something "new," they'd be more than happy to go home with you! :)

Muji-fy My Room!

Now that my closet's a little lighter from last week's weeding, it's easier to organize my remaining stuff. And believe me, there's still a lot of it left so I'm doing another round of cleaning today -- the brutal, never-look-back kind of cleaning.

Anyway, to inspire me to de-clutter and beautify my space, I went window-shopping at Muji, one of my favorite places to live in. Seriously. If only I can keep my room and future home as neat and organized as the Muji display, I would be in OC heaven. See these beautifully translucent boxes stacked beside each other?

Ahhhh, bliss.

Clean-Up Day: Out with the old, in with the new!

A wise friend once told me that when girls wail "I have nothing to wear!!!" it really means "I have nothing new to wear." Merriam-Webster's definition of "new" include:
  1) having recently come into existence
  2) made or become fresh

So what's someone like me to do with a closet that's bursting at the seams and have "nothing to wear?" (Below is proof otherwise!)

Why, find something new from my stock of old, of course! :) So last Saturday, after a little coaxing and prodding, my cousin Erika came over and set off to do what very few people have succeeded in helping me do: weed out my closet.

Summer Hearts

Summer has come and is apparently on its way out as the rainy season sets in. Thankfully, it was still sunny and breezy a week ago as I went about with a some errands and meet-ups.

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw this in H&M Dubai. I was adamant not to go mall shopping in Dubai -- especially in those stores that I'd find in Manila or Hong Kong -- but my friends and I had half a day free and my knees weakened at the sight of the store. H&M is my Achilles heel, so there goes my resolve! :(

I layered my periwinkle dress with a light knit cardigan, which transitioned well between outdoor weather and in-mall air conditioning.

Talking About... Ready for Rain on TV5!

After my rather awkward TV appearance early this year, I thought I'd never have to go through a similar experience. I guess I was wrong! Having moved away from the Philippines (huhuhu), Esel asked me to represent Ready for Rain for an interview with TV5, which I embraced more openly than my last taped interview because this was a) professional rather than personal in nature, and b) I had a little time preparing for it.

Honestly, I am probably the most introverted introvert I know, so public speaking or in this case, speaking in front of 5 people but later to be broadcast nationwide is not something that I feel comfortable with. I just pretended no one I know will ever see this and turned on my I-don't-care-what-people-think TV persona. Yes, I can turn on the charm if I really really try! ;p

Grandma, Timeless Style

Today, we are bombarded with so many images of beautiful people -- made up, styled, Photoshopped, nipped and tucked and dripping in luxury -- that we sometimes forget to see that there is more to true beauty than meets the eye, and that comes from living a godly life. One such beautiful person is my paternal grandmother Evelyn, whose photo here was taken when she newly arrived in Manila in her early 20s.

A woman of substance and style, her true beauty was reflected in the way she lived cheerfully and positively, even in her last days, as her immovable faith was anchored on her first Lover and Lord Jesus Christ.

It's been almost two months since we buried her as she passed away at 99. Our grandma or Ama as we call her was also supermom, a most loving mother-in-law (how many people can claim the same?), doting great-grandmother, innovative teacher, and loyal friend. It's taken me awhile to write about her because I thought, "How on earth will I condense my grandmother into one post?"

Maybe the best way she can be described is from the words of a book she read everyday -- the Bible.

What to Wear: Lounging

I found this backlogged entry I wasn't able to post a few months ago when we spent the most beautiful time in Donsol swimming with the whale sharks, locally known as butanding, and lounging around the house. I had posted something about wearing a lifevest but haven't yet updated you on the rest of our trip! Oops!

A weekend in the countryside certainly influenced these ladies' outfits of choice.

Our darling Kim looks adorable in a nude tank top layered with a floral shirt tied at the waist, hot pink shorts, and native abaca slippers. She was talking to her sweetie on the phone.

Remember Me?

I'm baaaaack! Can you guess where I've been? :) Here are several friends I made while I was away; only one's sociable enough to look up from her food and say hi!

I'm very embarrassed to have left my blog unattended for more than a month, and when I promised I'd update soon too!

To keep it short, I've been utterly blessed the past few weeks and this time I'll make sure to write about it :)

Please keep posted!

Sisterhood

Oh myyyyyy!!! It's been awhile since my last post and I apologize for not updating sooner! Life has been a whirlwind of events and opportunities -- praise God for these! -- and I haven't had the time or mental clarity to sit down and write a post. I'll be sure to update you with what's been happening in my personal, professional, and sartorial life :)

Today, I'll share with you some photos that remind me of how blessed I am to have sisters in the form of dear friends. I'm an only daughter, you see, and so I enjoy playing dress-up and make-up with these ladies as much as I enjoy our intelligent conversations, if you can believe we actually have the latter. We call ourselves the SOTP or Sisterhood of the Traveling Pant___s and I also wrote about us here ;p Who knows how that name came up! We're very silly that way.

Clockwise from the top: Kim, me, Jacqui, Esel

This photo shoot was timely as it would be one of our last moments we'd all be in one place in the next few years. We're all in different life stages too: Esel, just married, is moving to the US to join her husband; Jacqui's getting married this year; Kim's in love, and well, there's me -- in love with my God! ;)

Camel, My New Black!

I thought it'd be nice to have a different backdrop for a change. This is one of my favorite looks, primarily because a last-minute decision made the bigger impact.

The night before, I had already planned to pair this necklace with this camel dress, but it was only when I decided on a complementary-yet-just-as-vibrant cardigan that everything clicked. On hindsight, I should have taken a photo with the dress alone just so we can see how drab it looks...

The Illusionist

If you've noticed, dresses make up most of my wardrobe. And why not? They're easy to wear and move around in, and they can make one look so sophisticated! After some hesitation on my part, I bought this particular dress chosen for me by Esel from SM Department Store, one of my favorite places to shop! (Pfffft. What isn't?) There are plenty of choices and the staff are so helpful. I find that my shopping experience there has gotten better and better over the years!

Anyway, today I'd like to share with you some tricks on how to look slimmer -- if you're on the heavy side -- or curvier -- if you're underweight like me. Either way, it's all an illusion! ;) Here goes!

1) Choose something body-skimming but not body-fitting. There is a difference! -- if I wore the latter, I'd be exposing my bones and that wouldn't be very pretty :) Everyone has a cut that best suits her; I find tailored items flatter any body type. I like this dress because the high neck covers my chest bones and lends a demure vibe to the look.

Flower Power, Tween Edition

On behalf of my cousin Cara, I would like to apologize for the state of her hair. Haha. Apparently, Unmanageable Hair Syndrome is something all tweens must go through (I did too!) and there's no amount of great hairstyling and strong hair clips that will hold it in place.

That said, I love how Cara paired a floral blouse and floral skort we found at Bershka a few months back.

Just a quick post on what I wore on a warm Sunday. The chartreuse is quite refreshing, no?

How to do Color / Stripes / Ruffles

It's amazing how a little detail -- even if it's made up of scraps -- can liven up a piece of clothing, doesn't it? Just a quick post today on a bit of my mom's blouse:

Hope you're having a lovely week so far!

Oops, I Did It Again!

Okay. So I hope you don't remember that once upon a time, I've said I would stop buying crochet tops. Oops! Now that I have confessed reminded you, I will now proceed to tell you why this is still a GOOD BUY :)

1) It goes perfectly with my coral Topshop shorts the one I bought immediately after I told myself I won't buy any more shorts, which I've been wearing for three consecutive weekends -- a testament to how predictable I am what a good investment this is!

A Wedding / Ten-Year Old Lessons from the Love of Music

Weddings are always full of memories and emotions. This one I attended a few weekends ago was no different, as I relived moments not only of the couple but also with fellow guests and wedding singers from the Ateneo Glee Club. It's been six years since I last formally sang with them (and in Europe too!) and it was so much fun, not to mention touching and sentimental, to sing the very first song we were strictly tested on in our first year as trainees. We were trying our best not to pee in our pants in front of our conductor back then. This marks the 10th year anniversary of us singing this piece...

L-R: me, Abby, Mich, Issa

And just as timeless as this piece is, so are the irreplaceable life lessons I learned from being in the Glee Club, such as...

On Repeat

I have a tendency to wear certain things over and over again (and leave 80% of my closet ignored). What can I say, except yes, I'm planning to clean it out soon! :) In the meantime, here's a second look at an orange-and-black combo I wore the other week. I'm loving this blouse! Although closed high at the neck, I don't feel too claustrophobic in it yet given the sheer, breathe-easy material.

Style Profile: Ycel

I can't believe that I haven't done a profile on Maricel -- or Ycel as she likes to be called -- as she's one of the most stylish ladies in our office. She loves wearing skirts and dresses and great footwear. I particularly like what she's wearing here as she keeps her body type in mind.

Not everyone can pull off this look, but she can! That's because Ycel's confidence is based on her confidence in God. Now, who can rival that? ;)

I channeled a very breezy, cheery attitude with these loose, easy-breathing pieces a few days ago.

I've Got Sunshine

It's been gloriously sunny the past couple of days, reminding me that summer's coming. Yay! Beach days, golden (or in my case, ash brown) tans, and less traffic given that school's out! Yes, students, we working people celebrate with you too ;)

There are indeed many reasons to celebrate the sunshine, but aside from wearing summer-worthy clothing, my favorite one is this...

Orange / Peach / Apricot

Remember the clothes swap I had with Sharon before? Well, we did another one because she wanted someone to use this sheer blouse her boyfriend won't let her wear. I gladly obliged. Hihi.

What do you call this color? Orange? Peach? Apricot? These are all fruit, by the way...

Seeking

I am utterly amazed at how PERFECT God's timing is. He always was and is and always will be perfect. How can I still be surprised by this?

My mind and emotions have been tossing about, as on the sea, neither here nor there, and just as I left the office today, I asked of God -- God, please speak to me. Let me listen. And upon coming home, this:

"As for God, his way is perfect; -- The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not fear or want anything.
the word of the Lord is flawless. -- His ways and His word (the Bible) are perfect.
He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. -- He protects me when I'm not playing rebel and turn to Him, depend on Him. He protects me even from myself.
For who is God besides the Lord? -- My God is the God of all gods! Who can compare?
And who is the Rock except our God? -- He is faithful, unchanging, the beginning, and the end.
It is God who arms me with strength -- When I am weak and doubting, He gives me new hope.
and makes my way perfect.  -- He brings me back when I am astray. He works all things together for those who love Him and are called to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;  -- I am swift and light and unencumbered by worries.
he enables me to stand on the heights. -- I am not afraid. I have a great view of His vision.
He trains my hands for battle; -- He makes my unskilled hands capable. No experience? No worries. God equips me and is my strength. He is made perfect in my weaknesses. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
my arms can bend a bow of bronze. -- With God, I am invincible! Wonder Woman! Capable of anything that's set before me, of the great unknown. (Philippians 4:13)
You give me your shield of victory -- I will finish the race, victorious and uninjured, for His protection is around me.
you stoop down to make me great -- God did not need to make Himself man, but He did. All because of His great love for me. He stooped down into my filth, my wickedness, my pain and ugliness and loved me, a sinner. Not only that, He lifts me up on eagles' wings that I may soar.
You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn."
2 Samuel 22:31-37

I may not have a definite answer, but YOU alone are enough. You alone are sufficient for me. Thank You.

Corporate Nautica

I'm very blessed to live in the city with the seaside a few hours' drive away. Unlike some of my friends whose families hail from the province, I was born in an urban landscape. Fortunately, my cousins and I grew up with summers spent outdoors, catching butterflies, sucking on santan flowers for a sip of honey, and my favorite -- frolicking at the beach.

As boring and un-spontaneous as I am, my friends know me to be the first one to say Go! whenever a beach trip is hatched. And since I can't physically be at the ocean with the wind whipping my hair about and feel the sand between my toes... Huhu.

I've decided to bring the ocean into the city.

What to Wear: Mt. Pulag / A Step-by-Step Guide to Making Your Own Waterproof Jacket

On Mt. Pulag, the humble garbage bag is turned into a creation of style and protection. Halfway into our climb, it was starting to drizzle with a large chance of downpour, so all the fashionable people turned to the it thing to wear!

Here is my cousin Noreen with her stylish waterproof jacket. I'll take you through a behind-the-scenes tour of her look in a bit.

Eeeeverybody's wearing the garbage bag! (Well, everybody who doesn't have a decent raincoat or waterproof jacket. Hehe.) This is Charlene, who wore it as a sleeveless shift. So chic, no? This just goes to show how versatile black is; wherever you are, whatever you're doing, it's ALWAYS in!

Courage: Climbing Mt. Pulag

A lot of people were dubious when I first told them I'm climbing Mt. Pulag. I ignorantly thought, what could be so hard? I'll just exercise the weeks before our climb. I know my dad was quite worried because he kept nagging me about exercising and giving me words of encouragement "You'll never make it! You're so unfit!" Thanks, Dad. I love you too. ;p

Well, what I lacked in physical fitness, I more than made up for in courage, although gumption would probably be more apt a word. The weekend was such an untypical one for me that afterwards, I thought every moment was an exercise in courage, defined herein by a sheltered city girl:

Courage (or thriftiness) is wearing an obnoxious-colored shirt even though the last thing I want to do is call attention to myself because I'm such a klutz and it's my first time to climb Mt. Pulag. I had no choice; this was the only Dri-fit shirt I had and I didn't want to spend on a new outfit. Vain, vain, vain!

New Curves / What to Wear When You're Skinny

It may seem ironic, but I desperately needed a style-uplift after reviewing my closet! Given most of my clothes hang loosely and comfortably on me like this favorite, I promised myself the next few pieces I acquire would be something that actually flatters my slight (and still getting slighter) frame. I also had to keep away from the basic black, which I have a lot of, and other blah colors that did nothing to offset my complexion.

I chanced upon this vibrant print dress in SM and the minute I felt the gathered stretchy fabric, I knew I had hit the jackpot. Doesn't it make me look more uhhh... volumized? :)

If you're thin like me, there are ways to make you look less like a thirteen-year-old boy and more like an eighteen-year-old lady. Haha! ...which is still not as fully developed as I'd like but probably as developed as God will let me be, for now! :)

Courage: Is Going Blind on a Blind Date

This post is waaaay overdue and you'll know why in a minute. First, let me ask you a couple of questions:

1) What does one wear to a blind date?
A: Something safe, but not man-repelling (therefore no blunt bangs, turtlenecks, or animal prints), something a little feminine.

2) What does one wear to a Dinner in the Dark -- a 3-course pre-Valentine's dinner organized by JCI Manila to promote awareness about blind youth?
A: Knowing myself, I'd spill something all over myself even without the event's prerequisite blindfold, so I picked out a printed blouse such that any stains would be camouflaged somehow. Now this is what you call functional dressing! ;p

3) What can I wear that fits the above criteria and can still pass as office-appropriate?
A: Since I had no time to go home and change before dinner, I just layered on a cardigan.

Ta-da! Three concerns addressed!

My Blonde Twin?

A friend had just visited Cape Town and stalked this girl because... here, I'll just add the message that came along with the photo.
So I was walking around Cape Town and I saw this one girl who absolutely reminded me of you. She had a long flowy skirt and a really nice tank with it but the kicker was this red scarf she had that just added the color. Yeah, as I was walking down the street I just thought, yeah, this is perfectly Jill.

This totally looks like something I'd wear and be doing... if I were in Cape Town, that is! Haha! When will I ever get the chance to visit, I wonder*?

For those who know me, what do you think? Do you see any resemblance? :)

----------
* Strange coincidence that just last weekend, I met the Consul of the Philippine Embassy from Cape Town. Hmmm!

2012, Year of Courage

I've been putting off some planning for the year -- I know, it's going to be March SOON! -- and it's high time I put my affairs in order.

To kick off the year, Esel suggested I have a theme to guide me. It's settled -- 2012 will be my Year of Courage. Courage to take risks, to leap into the unknown, to be adventurous in terms of traveling, dressing, and way of thinking. It also means I have to exert more effort in loving people that are not so likable; after all, it's a big risk to show care and concern to those who may end up trampling on my fragile heart. (Ouch.)

What do you think? Possible? Man says, "never in a million years would I ever..."

While God says YES! Only by His grace.

How to Wear: A life vest that's too big

I just spent an amazing, breathtaking, wonderful weekend in Donsol and Legaspi with friends Esel, Kim, and others! Not only did we have one blissful interaction with nature after another, we also picked up a lot of nuggets of information, some more memorable than others. I will inject them into my posts over the next few days! For today, I want to share with you how to deal with a life vest that usually comes in one-size-fits-all.

For most Asians -- ladies especially -- the standard life jacket hangs quite loose. The trouble with this is that once you're in the water, it will float up and above your neck and obstruct your vision. For those who don't swim very well, you definitely don't want that concern added while snorkeling or keeping up with the fast butanding or whale shark!

Fortunately, our Butanding Interaction Officer or BIO for the day, Kuya Kits, showed us how to wear a life vest that's too big for you. I learn something new every day! Amazing!

Here is the lovely Chastine with her custom-fit life vest.

How to turn Blah into Oooh!

It's been awhile since my last post; sorry about that! The good news is, there's been a lot going on and I have a lot to share with you in the next few weeks. Wheeeee! Please stay tuned :)

A couple of days ago, I put together a look with two very basic pieces with one very special necklace.

I look so formal, noh? I wore a silk blouse, my navy elephant pants -- soooo roomy, there could be room for you! -- and a gorgeous coral necklace from my friend Charlene I also wore at the start of the year.

Suiting Up

Just a simple post on how to transform a very casual shirt -- an upgraded version of a wife beater (aka sando) actually -- into something that's passable for the office. It depends on where you work though; if you're in banking or consulting, the shirt would be considered too casual and maybe even inappropriate no matter what you do.

I dressed up a lace cotton top with gold chains and a blazer -- the latter one because it was a bit chilly in the morning!

Conservatively Gray

I also love picking dresses that are unique so they are conversation pieces by themselves. Here's one of them I bought during a shopping trip abroad last year.

Working From Home

Remember my ultimate dream -- to work from home (i.e. the beach)? Okay, so let's take it up a notch. I'd like to be as glamorous as THESE ladies while working from home. Meaning, I'm not in my ratty tshirt and shorts. Eep!

I took some inspiration from Garance Dore's photos of Reece Solomon...

...and Lucy Chadwick being productive in their casa.

Seeing these ladies has inspired me to dress up at home when I'm working! Haha. Pretty soon I'll be twirling around in my dresses talking to myself. What a crazy lady! Nahhh, I won't do that ;p

Seriously though, I find dressing properly as though for public viewing sort of puts my "head in order" and forces my brain to think. Now that my desk is clear of junk and clutter, I should do the same with my computer*.

Any organizational tips? What do you do to get into working mode? :)

Styling Dilemma: Boredom
